Out of the Woodwork 2014

It seems like only yesterday that we wrapped up our return to Carlisle after several years in New Jersey, but it's time again to begin planning for Out of the Woodwork 2014. This year the show is returning to the Carlisle Import & Kit Nationals, one of the largest import car shows in the USA. As with prior years, hotel rooms will be available beginning on Thursday May 15, there will be some form of cruise on Friday May 16, the show and club banquet/auction on Saturday May 17, and farewells on Sunday May 18.
Please use the links provided for hotel/show registration or you will not get the Club discount. Unfortunately, attendance at Woodwork requires separate registration to the Import & Kit Nationals, which means you will be paying two fees for your car — one to Carlisle Productions and one to TVRCCNA. We are sorry to have to do it this way, but we cannot afford not to charge a per-car fee for TVRCCNA. Yeah, we know it sucks, but it's for the good of the Club.
Friday Drive to the Antique Automobile Museum at Woodwork: This year's drive will include a destination, the Antique Automobile Museum in Hershey. Ben Roth (Mid-Atlantic RO) has finalized the drive; despite his best effort he cannot keep off of the interstate completely (in total 12 miles or less split up) but the majority of the 60-70 mile trip will be on some scenic back roads mostly thru Perry County (the last PA county to not have a traffic light) and will likely include the navigation of 2 round-a-bouts for your driving confusion.
The plan is to leave the hotel parking lot by 10:30am. The place we are stopping for lunch (weather permitting) is a drive in diner with outside seating and does not take credit card so please have some cash on hand. Food is pretty much deep fried but you can always eat a big breakfast and have a tasty shake. After a quick bite it will be off to the museum for a few hours. Tickets are less than $10 a person. Expecting to be there from 1-3pm or so. According to their website they will be opening a new revolving display that day, Japanese cars and when Ben was there last month they had a really nice Indian motorcycle display. Then back to the hotel in time for happy hour, a quick trip to Carlisle for visiting the vendor tents or making plans for an evening out on the town. Should be back at the hotel no later than 4pm
