Out of the Woodwork 2026

Mt. Airy, MD: June 26-28, 2026

For 2026, TVRCCNA is giving DC another try - hopefully we won't have a repeat of "Wetwork 2018." We are proud to be hosted by the Chesapeake Chapter of the New England MG T Register at the Original British Car Day, which claims to be the first British Car Day (and is the longest running we've been able to find). Details for the event including the banquet and other activities are being developed and will be communicated here and on our Facebook page when they are finalized.

Schedule of Out of the Woodwork 2026 (all times are approximate)

Friday

   - Arrive at the hotel, relax, meet with friends.

We are considering a no-host event, possibly at Dave and Busters unless a local Maryland member wishes to host an event - it is sadly too far from Virginia for our officers to host. We considered Sportrock Climbing Centers but figured that's a bad idea given some of our members (you know who you are).

Saturday

   - 10:00am-3pm: Cruise and Lunch (route TBD)

   - 5:30-10pm: Out of the Woodwork Banquet and 2026 Annual General Meeting

      o 5:30pm - Room opens for cocktails

      o 6:30-8pm - Banquet

      o 8:00-10pm - Auction, the usual silliness. Remember to bring your no longer needed TVR treasures for the auction!

The Saturday drive this year will start from the hotel. Please be there with a full tank of gas as we will not be stopping for fuel along the route. We are still working on the route but plan to drive for approximately 1.5-2 hours, stop for lunch, and then return to the hotel via another route.

Sunday

   - 8am-4pm: Out of the Woodwork (with Original British Car Day)

      o 8:00am - Gates open for entry

      o 12:00pm - Drive-in Registration closes

      o 12:30pm - Participant voting ends for Original British Car Day

      o 1:00pm - Participant voting ends for Out of the Woodwork awards

      o 2:30pm - Award Presentation for OBCD

      o 3:00pm - Award Presentation for Woodwork

      o 4:00pm - Depart for hotel or home

Monday

   Wake up, eat breakfast, pack your car and marvel (or quiver) at what you purchased during the auction, and then head for home.

2026 TVR Car Club of North America Banquet & Auction

Out of the Woodwork 2026 - A Meet for All Sports Car Nuts!

  When: Sunday, June 28, 2026, 8am-3pm

  Cost:
   OBCD vehicle registration - $25 if booked by June 1, 2025, otherwise $35 at the gate

Hotel

TVR Club rates will soon be available at the Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center (9751 Washingtonian Boulevard, Gaithersburg, MD 20878, 301-590-0044). The club rate will be around $145 per night for a king bed or $175 a night for double beds.
