Wanted: Presidential Prospects
As the President of the TVR Car Club North America, Marshall Moore, announced at ‘Out of the Woodwork’ 2008, he is looking to wrap up his tenure as president of the club by the end of 2009. This puts the club in the position of looking for a worthwhile successor in that position. We would be looking for an individual who has the desire, the time, the devotion to the TVR marque, an ability to work well with all types of people, an individual who can manage the rest of the TVRCCNA Board of Officers which includes the other officers and Regional Organizers, and someone who can oversee the various operations of the club to keep it a viable organization dedicated to the TVR marque and its owners and enthusiasts around North America and elsewhere.
As everyone knows, all of the club positions are voluntary and the more people who help out to support their club, then theoretically the less each person has to do.The ideal person who would assume the position of President would be one who would wear many hats and have the ability to juggle many balls in the air at the same time. This person would possess the ability to coordinate and plan events, help keep R.O.s energized and enthused, field questions from the membership at large, be a diplomat, be able to bring a fresh approach to the club and, simply, to keep the club alive and growing for the future. He or she would also need to work well with the TVRCC of England and contribute a monthly column to SPRINT magazine about activities on this side of the pond.
Marshall has served as only the second president of the TVRCCNA, taking over from founder Marq Ruben in 2001. He has also been producing the TVR Times (although this could be handled by someone else if that was the desire of the new president and someone capable came to the fore to handle the job).
If you have any interest in the position of President, please contact Marshall Moore at 540-772-0952 or by e-mail at tvrccna@verizon.net or any of the other club officers listed on this website. We look forward to hearing from interested individuals. Please help support your club.

Marshall Moore
The TVRCCNA was organized in 1981 by founder Marq Ruben. Originally, we were a part of the TVR Car Club of England and Marq was the one who envisioned a separate club to serve North America. The rest is history.
Sadly, our founder, Marq Ruben passed away in April, 2007. He was a visionary for starting and running the TVR Car Club North America for over 20 years. He is greatly missed.
We continue to be very active with a membership base of over 450 members. Our club magazine, the TVR Times, is published quarterly for the membership and features event coverage, technical articles, information on club regalia, classified ads, members cars stories, etc, plus each issue includes the newsletter for the Griffith Motorcar Club International which focuses on the V8 powered Griffith 200 and 400 models.
The TVRCCNA is dedicated to the preservation and maintenance of the TVR marque and it is through the club that our members continue to learn, to educate others, and to spread the word throughout North America about TVR.
We hope you will join us and experience the joy of owning one of these rare, limited production British sportscars. Through doing so, you can participate with the rest of the membership in enjoying miles and miles of driving fun, in a TVR!

TVRs have been produced by hand by TVR Engineering Ltd in Blackpool, England since 1947. The TVR Car Club North America (TVRCCNA) is an enthusiasts' organization dedicated to the preservation and maintenance of the TVR marque through the inherent fun involved in owning and driving a TVR sportscar.
