‘Out of the Woodwork’ 2008
“Back to Our Roots”
September 25-27, 2008
The TVR Car Club North America is pleased to announce that our national event, Out of the Woodwork 2008, will once again be a stand-alone event, returning to our roots with the style of event for which Woodwork became known. The 2008 event will be held in beautiful Bucks County, Pennsylvania, along the banks of the Delaware River at Washington's Crossing Historic Park, a venue that allows plenty of room for expansion in future years, a large covered pavilion providing plenty of space for people to relax, eat, talk, and plenty of room for vendors with a nice combination of wooded areas and open space.
Washington's Crossing Historic Park, is a historic site commemorating Washington's crossing of the Delaware in 1776. It is easily accessible from two major interstates, I-95 and I-78 and offers some interesting exhibits to view while in the area.We are also pleased that the Sheraton Bucks County Hotel, on Oxford Valley Road in Langhorne, PA will be our host hotel. This is a beautiful hotel with newly renovated guest and meeting rooms, as well as an onsite restaurant, lounge, fitness center, and indoor pool to offer guests very comfortable accommodations at a nightly rate of only $119.00 for single or double. The Sheraton will also host our annual TVRCCNA Banquet and Auction on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008 and we will also have a TVRCCNA Hospitality Suite available on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26-27, 2008 for TVRCCNA members to use to relax and mingle.

Additional Features
For the second year in a row, one of the features of the Woodwork weekend will be a driving tour. This year, it will be the ‘Woodwork Covered Bridges Tour’ which will be held on Friday, Sept. 26, 2008. Bucks County Pennsylvania has a number of covered bridges along its scenic, winding roadways. This will provide participants with a beautiful drive through some scenic countryside, and will include a stop at a nice restaurant for lunch. The drive will be limited in number in order to keep it manageable, so please notify Tony Hess by clicking on his name if you want to participate in the drive. The deadline for signing up is August 25, 2008. More information on the Woodwork weekend will be forthcoming in the TVR Times as well as on the TVRCCNA website. We are excited about this new venue and a number of other car clubs have also expressed interest in participating so we are looking forward to a large crowd as we return ‘Back to our Roots’.
